…The road is long, with many a winding turn, that leads us to who knows where, who knows where, but I’m strong, strong enough to carry him, he ain’t heavy, he’s my brother.
William “Billy” Diaz of Waukesha entered eternal rest on May 25, 2025. William was born to Angel Luis Diaz, Sr. and Anastasia DeLeon Diaz on September 13, 1966. He graduated from Waukesha South in 1985. He worked for Alloy Products in Waukesha for almost 36 years where he considered many of his coworkers as family and friends and where he was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to work alongside quite a few family members.
William enjoyed playing sports in his younger years and you could always find him cheering on all the Wisconsin sports teams, jamming to his rock music and karaoke at local Waukesha bars! Because of his love for sports, we never had to second guess what we would receive for a gift at Christmas. We will treasure all those memories and gifts forever!
William will be sadly missed by his beloved siblings, Carmen (Eddie) Pacheco, Carmen Stein, Angel Luis Diaz, Jr., Eddie Diaz, Wanda (Dan) Roth, Hector Diaz, Anna Delia (Lem) Fishburne, his two sons, Dominic Reyes, Jacob Diaz, his grandson Day’Vion Kingston Diaz-Munoz and their mother, Jessica Diaz. He is further survived by many other cherished relatives and dear friends. He is preceded in death, by his parents, his younger brother David John Diaz and his “furry friend” Tigger.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, from 4:00p.m. until the 6:00 p.m. time of sharing at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Those who wish are invited to share a brief memory. Private interment will be on Friday, June 20th at St. Joseph Cemetery with a celebration of life to follow. Please contact a family member for details. Memorials in William’s name are appreciated to the family.
We kindly ask that you wear your favorite sports team or rock music attire in honor of William.
“I know the road you walked was anything but easy, you picked up your share of scars along the way, but now you’re standing in the sun, you’ve fought your fight and your race is done, the pain is all a million miles away.”
