Thomas J. Unti

Thomas J. Unti of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Veteran’s Day, November 11, 2025 at the age of 94. He was born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin on June 15, 1931 the son of Louis and Caroline (nee Jiardini) Unti. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and retired as a commander. He remained a patriot his entire life and served as the commander of the VFW Post 9785 in Eagle River. Thomas enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and was a gifted handyman. He will always be remembered for his love for his country and as a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He will be sadly missed by his children, Daniel (Barb) Unti, David (Joanne) Unti, Tom (Ann) Unti, Terry (Darnece) Unti, Leslie (Randy) Belonga and Laurie (the late Patrick) Bullis; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Burial with full military honors will take place at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Williams Bay.
