Thomas F. Owens

Thomas F. Owens a lifelong Waukesha resident died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at age 86. Tom served the City of Waukesha for more than 20 years as an alderman and on the Fire and Police Commission. He was a proud retired member of the Operating Engineers Local 139 and a lifelong member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years, Shirley; children, Robert (Joanne) Owens, Michael Owens, Daniel (Kris) Owens and Susan Borchardt; grandchildren, Sam (Becky) Owens, Joseph Owens, Alex Owens and Carlie Owens, great-granddaughter Cora Owens and brother Richard (Judy) Owens. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. funeral Mass at St. Mary Catholic Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186. Reception to follow. Private burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
