He graduated from Everly High School with the class of ’69. He played football at both ILCC, Estherville, Iowa and Morningside College, Sioux, Iowa graduating in 1973.

Tom married his high school sweetheart, Carol Sheehan December 27, 1972. They moved to Milford, Iowa, where Tom coached the high school football team for a few years. Tom and Carol were blessed with two daughters, Jill and Amy.

He transitioned his summer job at Moeller’s to become the area’s well known and dependable appliance repairman at Mollers/Melanders. Tom’s well-deserved retirement at 62 meant moving to Waukesha, Wisconsin to live close to his grandchildren.
