Stanley Walter Kassube Sr.

Stanley W. Kassube Sr. of Waukesha passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 28, 2023 at the age of 91. He was born the son of Walter and Ella. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In May of 1957 he married his beloved wife, Lois Ann at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Watertown. Stanley was an extremely hard worker and worked as a dump truck driver for many years, retiring at age 75. He enjoyed gardening and could fix just about anything and renovated his basement on his own. Stanley cherished the time he was with his family and he especially loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 66 years, Lois and their children, Debra (Larry) Brown, Cindy (Greg) Krumenacher and Stanley (Dawn) Kassube; his grandchildren, Erin (Chris) Rolle, Christina Brown, Angela (Aaron) Clark, Michael (Lindsay) Brown, Ken (Kayla) Fuller, Kyle Fuller, Taylor Kassube and Brennan Kassube and great-grandchildren, Ryan, Davie and Gemma Rolle, Savannah, Charlotte and Olivia Clark, and Liam Fuller and, Eve and Christian Fuller.  He is further survived by his sisters, Sharon (Charlie) Guenterberg, Annie (Terri) Busshardt and Shirley (Paul) Bast along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Elmer, Marvin and David and sister Marilyn.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186. Entombment will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery with full military honors. Memorials in Stanley’s name are appreciated to the family to be designated to charities close to the family’s heart.
