Sara Ann Branch (nee Beyerl) passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at the age of 51.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to parents Paul James and Terry Charlotte Beyerl (nee Straw). After finishing high school Sara went on to Hope College where she studied French & Ancient Civilizations, earning her bachelor’s degree. Sara spent her junior year of college studying abroad in Paris, France and London, England. She was the first American undergrad to ever intern at the British Museum and worked in the department of Greek coins. After marrying her beloved husband Louis on September 20, 1996 at St John’s in Wauwatosa, they began their family.

She was a supermom in all senses of the word, and homeschooled her boys, Ian and Orin, sharing her love of knowledge, music, and the arts with them. Sara enjoyed spending her free time doing arts and crafts. She was probably best known for her crochet; she amassed her own collection of “Sara’s Pocket Pets,” making many different beautiful crocheted animals and fantastic creature. She also was talented at music, playing the saxophone and handbells. Sara will be remembered as a loving, kind, giving and creative woman by all who knew and loved her.

Sara is survived by her devoted husband, Louis Branch; cherished children, Ian and Orin Branch; proud parents, Paul and Terry (nee Straw) Beyerl; beloved siblings, Ryan (Sharon) Beyerl and Adam (Patric Trusty) Beyerl; loving sisters-in-law, Carole (Troy) Geiger and Stephanie Williams. She is preceded in death by her daughter Zoe as well as many other family members.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1052 White Rock Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186, from 12:00 p.m. until the 2:00 p.m. Funeral Service.
