Ruth K. Morris

Ruth K. Morris (Davis) went home to the Lord on September 16, 2025 at age 99. Ruth was a resident at Markesan Resident Home where she received wonderful care. She had previously resided in the Fox Lake area prior to her move to assisted living. During World War II she volunteered at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She met her husband Melvin while he was serving his country and they were married in October 1946. While raising her own children, she also took in foster children. She worked for many years and retired from Waukesha Wholesale Foods.

She is survived by her children; Rick (Roxanne), Mardi Paul (Brian), and John (special friend Deb); five grandchildren, Justin Morris (Jeannine), Matthew Paul, Hannah Timmel, Brittney Enyeart (Jeff), and Joshua Coleman (Ashley) along with 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin, son Michael, daughter Patricia Coleman and siblings Donald Davis and Marion Brogan.

Visitation will be held at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 noon funeral service. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to the Fox Lake Library, Markesan Methodist Church or Markesan Resident Home.
