Rose Kaser of Waukesha was born to Eternal Life on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 71. She was born in Fleming, Kentucky on July 31, 1955 the daughter of James and Alma (nee Rose) Cassinelli. On June 8, 1974 she married the love of her life Robert Dale Kaser in their hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Rose and Dale made homes in California, Hawaii, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Maine, Rhode Island and Belgium over the next three decades while raising their three children. Rose modeled for her children how to embrace new experiences and each new community she found herself in. She and Dale enjoyed the unique experiences of each place-water skiing in Florida, learning how to make a delicious fish chowder while living in Maine, and traveling all over Europe when they made their home in Belgium. Rose loved people, hearing and telling stories, and spending the “gift of time” with those she loved. She volunteered through various organizations and became an active member of many church communities, teaching baptism classes and faith formation. Starting in Florida and ending in Maine, Rose went back to school to become an x-ray tech, eventually specializing in mammography. After their last military move brought them to Wisconsin, Rose and Dale settled in Waukesha where they both have been longtime and devoted members of St. Mary Catholic Church. Once retired, Rose and Dale loved traveling and cruising, including spending a part of each winter in their beloved Hawaii and fulfilling a dream of walking the Camino de Santiago.
She is loved and will be sadly missed by her devoted husband of 52 years, Dale and their children, Beth Kaser (Robert Russell), Joshua Kaser (Nicole) and Jessica Kaser (Thomas Elders); and her cherished grandchildren, Aelia and Sawyer Russell; Hannah Kaser; and Thomas and Henry Elders. She is further survived by her sister Dee Smart; brother Mike Cassinelli; cousin Robin Ellerhorst, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Dottie, Paul and Richard Cassinelli, and four sweet and well loved dogs, Misty, Sage, Bernie and Harley.
