Ronald L. Blankenheim, of Wisconsin Dells, formerly of Milwaukee, died Saturday, June 14, 2025 in Milwaukee at the age of 86. He was born in Milwaukee, WI, on January 2, 1939 the son of Leonard and Dorothy (nee Unger) Blankenheim. He had worked for 35 years at Crestwood Bakery in West Allis. He was an avid Packer and Brewer fan, loved animals, fishing, going to flea markets and thrift stores. Ron was very spiritual and always gave back to the community. He loved going to Stuff’s Restaurant in the Dells.
He is survived by his children Renee (late Michael) Hewitt of Spooner, Scott Blankenheim and Jody Reinke both of Milwaukee; grandchildren Laura (Michael) Maly-Anderson, Nicole Jambois, Gregory Jambois, Aubrey (Ryan) Cunningham and Spencer Fohr; great-grandchildren Braelynn Lord, Wilder Anderson, Ryker Emler, Shiloh Anderson and Francie Anderson. He is further survived by his brother Roy (late Shirley) Blankenheim of Waukesha, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Erika (nee Holzworth) Blankenheim on March 7, 2024 and his sister Joyce Foster.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Graveside services will follow at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Memorials in Ron’s name are appreciated to HAWS, 701 Northview Rd., Waukesha, WI 53188.
