Roger E. Gladen

Roger E. Gladen of Waukesha passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at the age of 87. He was born in Delphos, Ohio on March 12, 1939 the son of Eugene and Mildred (nee Schimmoller) Gladen. On October 10, 1959 he married his beloved wife Jo Ann (Roberts) Gladen. Together they were longtime members of St. Luke Catholic Church in Brookfield where Roger enjoyed singing in the choir. Most recently they have been faithful members of Corpus Christi Parish-St. William Church in Waukesha. Roger had a successful career as a mechanical engineer and in retirement helped his son Matt start Fesco Direct LLC and JEL Manufacturing LLC. He was an avid reader, loved his family and enjoyed gathering them together for a meal, fire or any event where they could share time and stories. Roger will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.

He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of 67 years, Jo Ann and their children, Tony (Kim) Gladen, Charlotte (Jason) Henry and Matthew Gladen; his daughter-in-law Debbie Gladen; his grandchildren, Jack (Leti) McComas, Luke McComas, Malia (Jake) Melville, Brooke (Nick) Gladen, Danielle Henry, Andrew (Rob Hale) Henry, Cade Henry, Sam Gladen, Myles (Madelyn) Gladen, Clay Gladen, Kaylie Gladen and Keegan Gladen and great-grandchildren, Isis, Cesar, Zoey, Delaney, Lincoln, Ryleigh, Hudson, Max and Evie. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Kent Gladen and his sister Paula Schuler.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 from 9:30AM until the 11:00AM funeral Mass at Corpus Christi Parish-St. William Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI 53188. Burial will be at a later date at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Delphos, Ohio. Memorials in Roger’s name are appreciated to Corpus Christi Parish.
