Robert "Bob" R. Brultz

Robert “Bob” R. Brultz of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at AngelsGrace Hospice at the age of 74. He was born in Milwaukee on October 19,1951 the son of Rudolph and Elaine (nee Boettcher) Brultz.

Bob met the love of his life, Judi (Hinterberg) during the summer of 1969. They were married on May 1,1971 at Holy Apostles in New Berlin and shared a loving marriage for 55 years.

Bob dedicated 33 years of his career to Rexnord, where he worked as an Industrial Engineer and Plant Supervisor. Following a company buyout, he lost his position in 2003. He then continued his career at Generac in Eagle, WI, where he worked until retiring in 2017.

Bob and Judi were blessed with two daughters, Kerri (Cris) McCarthy and Krista (Chris) Arnold. He was a proud grandfather to three grandsons: Max Arnold, Ben Arnold and Tristan McCarthy.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy and Elaine Brultz, and his sister Bonnie (Brultz) Hartmann, who passed away in 1996.

Bob considered Judi’s siblings to be his own family. He is survived by Ann Marie (the late Harold) Hinterberg, Patti (the late John) Staffeldt, Mike (Michelle) Hinterberg, Patrick (Annie) Hinterberg, and Larry (Carol) Hinterberg. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Bob found joy in the simple things in life. He enjoyed gardening, pulling weeds and had a special love for animals and critters of all kinds.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 9,2026 at Thunder Bay Grille, N14 W24130 Tower Place, Pewaukee, WI 53072.
