Richard Lee "Dick" Hause

Richard Lee “Dick” Hause, of New Berlin, died on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc at the age of 85. He was born on January 18, 1940, in Waukesha, the son of Gilbert and Agnes (nee Reish) Hause. On November 25, 1961, he married Sharon (nee Thiring) Hause at St. James Catholic Church in Mukwonago. He was a 1957 graduate of Waukesha High School, a lifelong member at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Jump River Gun Club in Ogema, Wisconsin. He worked as a supervisor at the City of New Berlin Public Works until his retirement in 1999. He experienced his greatest joy and peace attending Ed’s band performances, fishing on the lake, hunting in the woods, being around dogs and working in the garden.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Sharon of New Berlin, his son Edward Hause of New Berlin, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave. Waukesha. Entombment will take place following a procession to Prairie Home Cemetery. His urn will be placed in The Citadel.
