Richard W. Boushek

Richard “Rick” W. Boushek, age 64, of Fond du Lac, passed away on December 20, 2025 in Pewaukee, WI. Rick was born in Milwaukee, WI, on April 24, 1961 to parents Burton and Carol (nee Byers) Boushek, and was raised in Waukesha where he graduated from Waukesha South High School. He furthered his education at Waukesha County Technical College, earning an associate’s degree in Electronics Technology. Before retiring Rick worked as a quality control inspector.

A man of great independence and self-sufficiency, Rick was known by his family as a beacon of perseverance. He possessed a subtle, dry sense of humor that often provided a much-needed smile during difficult times. An avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, Rick also found great joy in the music of the BoDeans and cherished his annual trips to Summerfest with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving siblings; Linda Magerl, Sandy (Frank) Baldin, Sharon (James) Steinhart and Gary (Rose) Boushek. He is further survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews. Rick is preceded in death by his parents.

Following Rick’s wishes a private celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
