Philip S. Banda, of Waukesha, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Born on September 21, 1957, in Waukesha, he was the son of Philip and Lois (Rademan) Banda. On December 18, 2009, Philip married Susan (nee Brereton), who was the love of his life. Philip was the proud owner and operator of Phil’s Auto Service in Waukesha for 47 years. His passion for cars led him to being a race car driver, snowmobile racer, and car collector. He found joy in the great outdoors and treasured the time spent at his second home in Lily, Wisconsin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan; his stepson, Bradley Murphy; his sister, Michelle (Mitch) Irish; step-brother Ron (Jane) Lundy; aunt Linda Rademan; and sisters-in-law Barb (Randy) Neumann and Christie (Matt) Satermo. He is also loved and missed by his beloved dog, Cash, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Philip was preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law Tom Brereton, niece Amy Gaylord, and nephew Drew Satermo.
A private service will be held for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Philip's name may be made to HAWS, 701 Northview Road, Waukesha, WI 53188.
