Patrick A Adair

Patrick A. Adair of Germantown died on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the age of 72. He was born in Milwaukee on March 23, 1951, the son of Douglas and Dolores (nee Helm) Adair. He was a 1970 graduate of Nicolet High School. Patrick was a hard-worker and at a young age worked at McDonald’s before going into a career in transportation. He worked for Greyhound, Interstate Transportation, Advance Transportation, ABS Transportation and then Roadway Transportation. In addition to his work in the transportation industry he opened Filippo’s Restaurant in 2002.  Patrick retired in 2013 and enjoyed spending winters at his mobile home in Florida. He also served on the Germantown Police and Fire Commission.

He will be sadly missed by his wife of almost 40 years, Patricia (nee Palmisano) Adair; his children, Kimberly (Rob) Douglas of West Bend, Scott Adair of Red Granite, WI, and Matthew (fiancée Sarah Nagorski) Adair of Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Dylan (Emily) Douglas, Taylor, Sabrina, Asher, Levi and Raelynn Adair and “Baby Bean” a great-grandchild due in June. He is further survived by his brothers and sister, Dennis Adair of Wauwatosa, Dawn (the late Gary) Volle of Wauwatosa, Michael (Jacklyne) Adair of Sheboygan, Tim (the late Lynn) Adair of Henderson, NV; his oldest and dearest friends Jim and Mary Lou Grennier; nieces, nephews, daughter-in-law, Lisa Adair, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Steven.

Visitation will be held Tuesday May 23, 2023, from 10:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, 6400 W. Burleigh St., Milwaukee, WI 53210. Burial will follow.  A celebration of life luncheon will follow the service.
