Norma June (Hiatt) Proctor of Waukesha passed away on Wednesday, October 15th 2025, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Centerville, Iowa on June 8, 1933, the daughter of Ensil and Edith (Phillips) Hiatt.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 72 years, Thomas and their three children, Doug (Karen) Proctor of Seattle, WA, Craig Proctor (Gayl Lick) of Neillsville and Sue (Dean) Llanas of Waukesha. She was the dear grandmother of Dean (Beth) Llanas, Heather (Dan) Marschalek, Erin (Danny) Sonnentag, Haley (Mark) Treba, and Theo (Audrey) Proctor and great-grandmother of Ivan, Katie, Uli, Sabina, Lauren, Otis, Alton and June.
She was a lovely, good-natured person, warm and welcoming, kind and caring, active, stylish, spirited and most of all fun to be with. She took pleasure in crafts, cross-stitching and art. She also enjoyed an active lifestyle that included traveling, bowling, golfing, bocce, long walks and hikes, and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Avalon Square. Memorial gifts may be made to Presbyterian Homes and Services (preshome.org) who administer the Avalon Square facility where they have lived since March 2020.
