Nickolas "Pickle" Kass

Nickolas Lee "Pickle" Kass, of Pewaukee, died peacefully following a difficult battle with kidney failure on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc at the age of 29. He was born in Milwaukee on October 7, 1978 the son of Samantha Burnett. He attended Waukesha West and Brookfield East High Schools. Nickolas loved music and especially going to Summerfest and to concerts. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States with his family and taking road trips with his brother and friends. Nickolas was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys and Michigan Wolverines, and liked sports trivia, playing Texas Hold'em, and volunteering at the Waukesha County Food Pantry. He will be sadly missed by his loving mother Samantha Burnett of Waukesha, his "bro for life" Josh Kass of Waukesha, his dedicated and compassionate "Pop and Gram" Lee and Diane Brahm of Pewaukee, his special aunts Marion Voigt of Menomonee Falls, Michelle (Chawn) Medema of Milwaukee, Kathy (Larry) Leanna of West Allis, DeeDee (Tom) Hilgendorf of Milwaukee, his uncle Dan Brahm of Milwaukee, his dear cousin Jill (Gary) Blawat of Menomonee Falls, along with other cousins, other relatives and many friends. He will be greeted at Heavens Gate with open arms by his uncle Craig Ludwig. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2008 from 12:00 Noon until the 3:00 PM Funeral Service at the Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
