Nancy A. Baran

Nancy A. Baran, Age 74, passed away on July 7, 2026 at her home. She was born in Waukesha, the oldest of ten children born to James and Gloria (nee: Kienast) Yuds on October 23, 1951. In 1972 she married Gary Baran, he survives her.

Nancy was a devoted employee of Delzer Lithograph, where she dedicated 29 years of service and formed lasting friendships throughout her career. She was an avid collector of Hallmark Ornaments, she treasured adding to her collection. Halloween was her favorite holiday, and she looked forward to dressing up in a different costume each year and bringing smiles to the faces of the neighborhood kids. Nancy and Gary enjoyed living in Virgina for seven years before returning to Wisconsin, where they were able to experience the beauty of all four seasons. She found peace in watching the birds and squirrels that visited her yard and appreciated the simple joys nature provided. Upon returning to Wisconsin, Nancy and Gary shared their favorite Christmas tradition with the neighbors across the street and their kids. The excitement, joy and anticipation of an intricately wrapped Christmas present! They were very happy to share a new type of Christmas experience, especially with the kids. Nancy was happy to gift and share with others. She truly had a heart of gold.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Gary Baran. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, James and Gloria, and her sister Karen Moore.

A graveside service will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM please meet at the cemetery office.
