Michael J. “Mike” Dziengel, of Glendale, WI was born to eternal life Thursday, October 15, 2026, at Froedtert Hospital at the age of 61 after his 18-year fight with cancer. He was born on January 6th, 1965, in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Raymond and Dolores (nee Roskopf) Dziengel.
Mike was active in many sports, playing on the high school football team, competing in boy’s gymnastics, and pole vaulting on the track team. When Mike graduated high school, he enlisted in the US Air Force and proudly served his county specializing in avionics. He was stationed at various locations including Minot, ND, Biloxi, MS, and in Germany. He looked forward to yearly camping trips with the kids to Oshkosh for the EAA and enjoyed many outdoor activities including racing motorcycles, fixing cars, traveling, camping, hiking, biking, canoeing, skiing, surfing, and sailing. He served as a Royal Ranger leader for 20 years instructing and mentoring youth in their faith.
On July 12, 2025, he married Shauna Cornwall at Bridge Church in Oconomowoc. From there they tried to live life one day at a time to the fullest, by taking trips and engaging in many adventures, from bikes rides, going to concerts in other states to spending time with his adult children.
He will be dearly missed by his wife Shauna along with his children, Derek (Regina “Gigi” Croysdale) Dziengel, Ryan Dziengel, Meghan Dziengel, and Sophia Dziengel; brother Tom Dzienge and his sister Cathy (Yuri) Gutich.
