Mary Catherine Rose

Mary Catherine Rose, age 82, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 12, 2026. She was born on June 25, 1943 in Cleveland Heights, Ohio to Bennett and Mildred (nee: Bruckman) Rose.

Mary dedicated 30 years of service as a dietician at Milwaukee County and Froedtert Hospital. Her love for food extended beyond her profession, she was eager to try new restaurants and always took a genuine interest in other’s meals and was eager to hear about their experiences. Mary found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She loved traveling and exploring new places, gardening and creating a warm and welcoming home. Above all, she cherished spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her immense pride and happiness. The memories she created with them will be treasured.

She is loved and will be sadly missed by her son, Daniel (Dr. Amy) Harter; special grandchildren, Ava, Maya, Lillian, Leo, Vivienne, Willa and her two brothers, Jim and Bill Rose. She is further survived by nieces and nephew’s other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 at Corpus Christi Parish- St Mary Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave Waukesha, WI 53186 from 9:30 AM until the 10:00 AM funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Genesee Cemetery.
