Mary E. Olson, former resident of Waukesha and widow to Ervin Don Olson passed away peacefully at home in Alabama on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the age of 83. She was the former owner of a local popular restaurant for the time called Mary’s Place on Broadway. She was born in Dubuque, Iowa on October 31, 1940 the daughter of John and Matilda (Callahan) McDonald.
She leaves behind her only child Valarie Lynn Olson Robinson (Roger) and her four grandsons Shawn (Star), Christopher (Aubrey), Shane (Mary Ann), Casey (Arielle), and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death her brothers and sisters; Rosemary, Eleanor, Jack, Pauline, Billy, David, Elaine, Maureen, Michael, Gloria Jean and Patrick. She also has many nieces and nephews that were very beloved by her.
Graveside services and burial are being held at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha on Wednesday January 3rd, 2024 at 1:30pm. Please meet at the cemetery office.
