Mark Hilton Grams of Waukesha passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at the age of 81. Born in Sheboygan on June 23, 1944, he was the son of Hilton and Lillian (née Wehrwein) Grams. Mark proudly served his country in the United States Army, spending three of his four years of service in Germany.

On May 6, 1978, Mark married Anne Geigel, with whom he shared a passion for travel around the world. He enjoyed a successful career retiring from Elmbrook Hospital after 40 years of dedicated service where he supervised four departments including security.

Mark had a deep appreciation for 1960s music, was a devoted Packers fan, and loved being around children and people in general. Known for his gentle and kind nature, outgoing personality, and great sense of humor, he had a keen interest in history. His greatest passions included reading and writing, caring for his dogs, and traveling. Above all, he cherished his family and took great joy in attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife of nearly 48 years, Anne Geigel-Grams; their son, Robin (Jessica) Grams; and his two cherished grandchildren, Hailey and Evan Grams. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Grams, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at RiverGlen Christian Church, S31 W30601 Sunset Drive, Waukesha, WI 53189. A lunch and celebration of life will follow the service. Private burial with full military honors will take place at Highland Memorial Park.
