Marjorie "Marge" A. Nowell

Marjorie “Marge” A. Nowell, age 88, died on June 30, 2025. She was born on July 29, 1936, to James and Bridget (nee: Gallagher) Bamrick. Marge graduated from Edgewood College, Madison, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. She worked as an elementary education teacher, later on in her life she took on the role of consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics, and was a real estate agent. She was a longtime member of St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church. On December 29, 1962, she married James W. Nowell; he preceded her in death on February 28, 2013. Marge’s greatest joy was her family.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Jennifer (Jerry) Huggett, Suzanne (Timothy) Deaton, and her son, the late Michael Nowell; grandchildren, Sam Huggett, Caitlin Huggett, Natalie Deaton, Max Deaton, Austin Nowell, Jordan Nowell and Ali Nowell. Marge is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, son Michael, and siblings: Martin Bamrick, Mary Skyles, Dr. John Bamrick, Richard Bamrick, Helen Kapler, Bridget Sohl, Paul Bamrick, and James Bamrick.

Visitation and funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 3:00 P.M. until the 4:00 P.M. funeral Mass at St. Anthony on the Lake Catholic Church, W280 N2101 Prospect Ave (Hwy SS) Pewaukee, WI 53072. Burial will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Prairie Home Cemetery. Please meet at the cemetery office at 9:30 AM.
