Marguerite Ann Cavenagh, age 74, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 30, 2026. She was born in Chicago, IL on September 4,1951 to Richard and Margaret (nee: Levandowski) Mellin. Marguerite was a talented painter and artist whose creativity was evident in all she did. Whether painting homes or creating beautiful murals, she took great pride in her work and the joy it brought to others. A woman of deep faith, she shared her love of God with many throughout her life. She had a passion for music, writing poetry and playing the guitar. Her quick wit, and warmth naturally drew people to her. She was generous beyond measure, always willing to help others. She will be lovingly remembered for her kindness, warm smile, and compassionate spirit that touched so many lives. Her faith was a source of strength and comfort throughout her life, and she found peace in knowing God’s love looking forward with hope to her eternal life with Him.
She is loved and will be missed by her children, Phil (Jill) Perez, Shannan (Nick) Gertmann, Adam (Heather); her grandchildren, Mitchell (Hanna) Perez, Miranda Perez, Joshua Barranca, Savannah Barranca, Maximus Gertmann, Michael (Madeline) Cavenagh, Madalyn Cavenagh and a great grandson, Kevin Daniel Cavenagh II. She is further survived by her sisters, Ruth “Rubi” (Jorge) Anzaldo, Madonna (Gary) Case, Dawn Conrad and her brother John Mellin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha, WI 53186 from 5:00 PM until the 6:30 PM funeral service.
