Margaret Ann Rautmann

Margaret Ann “Marge” Rautmann (nee: Schneider) passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025. She was born in Chilton, Wisconsin on August 3, 1943 to Wilbert and Eva (nee: Cetwinski) Schneider. Marge worked for AT&T as a switchboard operator, then designing circuits for installation until her retirement. 

Marge was a fan of Elvis and Neil Diamond. She enjoyed antiquing, and enjoyed collecting Hummels and crystal, as well as her family’s Ukrainian folk art. She enjoyed entertaining her friends and family. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren.

After her divorce, she cared for her parents, then her aunt, Adele Cetwinski (nee: Zowistowski).

Marge and her family wanted to thank the staff of Community Care of Waukesha County (especially Tiffany and Liz), Badger Hospice (Chris), and Adava Care (Nelly and Shamika) for their friendship and devotion.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Kari Sue (Ross) Kemppainen of Chicago, Kevin (Kari) Rautmann of Hartford, Christopher Jon (Gail) Rautmann of Everett, WA and her grandchildren, Emily Rautmann, Allison Rautmann, August Rautmann, Krista Kemppainen and Erik Kemppainen.

Margaret is further survived by her brothers and sister, William “Bill” (Kathy) Schneider, Susan (the late James) Braun, Nicholas Schneider, John Schneider and a sister-in-law Sylvia Schneider.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Schneider, and sister-in-law Mary Schneider.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, December 30th with visitation beginning at 1:00pm until the 2:00pm memorial service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha.
