Margaret "Marge" Werner

Margaret E. “Marge” Werner, of Dousman, died on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Three Pillars Health Care Center at the age of 94. She was born on December 10, 1916 in Waukesha the daughter of William and Ella Jane (nee Worley) Larson. Marge married Frederick Lemke who together raised four children; he preceded her in death in 1975. She later was married to Adolph Werner who also preceded her in death in 2007. Marge worked for many years at the Waukesha Public School District as a secretary until the late 1970’s when she retired and moved to Arizona. Following the death of Adolph, Marge returned to the Waukesha area in 2007. Marge loved to dance and performed on occasions with the Dixie Belles. She enjoyed being active in her community, was a life long member of the Presbyterian Church and was a member of the Lady Elks and the Kiwanians. She will be sadly missed by her children: Tom (Pat) Lemke of Pearland, Texas, Pat (Clark) Connell of Reedsville, Cindy Mackey of Spirit Lake, Iowa and William Lemke of Waukesha. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, her brother William Larson of Waukesha, along with other relatives and friends.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 11:00AM at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin. Please meet at the cemetery entrance. If desired, donations may be made in Marge’s name to a charity of choice. For further information, please call Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral, Cremation and Preplanning Services at 262-547-4035 or go to www.waukeshafunerals.com to leave the family an online tribute.
