Lola Mae R. Weinrich

Lola Mae R. Weinrich, passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the age of 99 years. She was born on February 19, 1926 to Otto R. and Emma (nee: Steffan) Hoppe in the Town of Waukesha. She graduated from Waukesha High School and Carroll College in Waukesha. She began her teaching career in Sun Prairie and Walworth High Schools and then returned to Carroll College and received her Elementary Education Degree. Following this she taught at Zion School in the Kettle Moraine School District. Lola then started her employment with the Waukesha School District, teaching three years at Pleasant Hill Elementary School and the next 22 years at Randall Elementary School. She retired from teaching in 1993. On June 16, 1956 she married Darrel Weinrich, they were married for 54 years before his passing on December 28, 2010. Lola was a life member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, and also was an active member of the Waukesha Noon Lioness, and Hales Corners Lionettes.

Lola will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews: Paul Beard, Keith (Denise) Gustafson, Faith (Michael) Lane, Beverly Balistreri, John Gustafson and Wayne (the late Patricia) Gustafson. Further survived by great nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Darrel R. Weinrich; brothers Herbert and Delbert Hoppe; sisters Marian (Paul) Beard, Mardel (Wayne) Gustafson and a nephew Richard Gustafson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha, WI 53186. Services continue on Thursday, February 26 with visitation at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 1052 Whiterock Ave Waukesha from 10:00 AM until the 11:00 AM Funeral Service.
