Linda L. Singsime

Linda L. Singsime, age 75, died on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Angels Grace Hospice. Linda was born in Wisconsin Rapids on October 30, 1950 to Carl and Vivian (nee: Busch) Petersen. On January 2, 1971 she married Richard Singsime.

Linda dedicated 28 years to the food service department at Carroll University, where she found great joy in preparing meals and serving the students. She cherished the relationships she built, often sharing stories about her own family while taking a genuine interest in the lives of the students. Her caring nature, warm heart and willingness to always be there for others made her a second mom to so many. She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion and the love she shared with everyone she met. In addition to her love for cooking, she collected cookbooks!

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard Singsime, she was the very proud mom of Stephanie (Justin) Belsha and Christopher Singsime, devoted grandma of Collin Parr, Angelina (Steve) Belsha and Christian Belsha and was excited to meet her first great-grandchild in September 2026.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jeff, Roger and Steve Petersen and her twin sisters, Susie and Sheila Petersen.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Randle-Dable Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave Waukesha, WI 53186 from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM funeral service. Interment will be held at Prairie Home Cemetery at a later date.
