Laura Elena Nieves Vinales

Laura Elena Nieves Vinales, passed away unexpectedly, on July 8, 2026 at the age of 66 years. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Manuel and Maria Nieves. Laura was a woman of deep and unwavering faith who found great comfort and strength in reading the Bible. She loved Jesus, and expressed her love for Christ by sharing the gospel message at every opportunity. Above all, Laura will be remembered for her kind and caring heart, her unwavering love for her family, and the compassion she showed to others. She leaves behind a legacy of faith and will be deeply missed.

She will be sadly missed by her loving children, Ruben (Maria) Rivera, Milagros (Michael) Wellman, Arlene (Todd) Hoge; grandchildren, Yelene Washington, Jalyssa Rivera, Yanelis Washington, Ezra Rivera, Selene Hoge, Aniyah Rivera, Sonya Hoge, Ethan Hoge, Eliana Rivera, Evan Hoge, Sofie Hoge, Summer Hoge and Asher Wellman. She is further survived by her brothers and sisters, Margarita Betancourt, William (Elba) Nieves, Efrain (Basilisa) Nieves, Mari-Carmen Nieves and Evelyn Nieves.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at Lakewood Baptist Church, W274 N1490 Riverland Dr. Pewaukee, WI 53072 from 10:30 AM until the 11:30 AM memorial service.
