Kenneth "Ken" W. Fenske

Kenneth William Fenske, 57, of Waukesha, passed away on August 10, 2025. A lifelong Waukesha resident, he was born on January 19, 1968 to Kenneth Walter and Gloria Jean (nee: Kern) Fenske. Ken graduated from Mukwonago High School and the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a business degree.

Ken was passionate and dedicated to his career at Edgewood Greenhouses. He started at the age of 15, then became partner in ownership and eventually sole owner, until deciding to sell the company in 2025 due to health reasons. Every day Ken continued to work and help the new owner, to the best of his ability, as this was one of his greatest passions in life.

Ken’s hobbies included getting outdoors and hunting with every opportunity made available. This was something he loved at a very young age and became more passionate as the years went on. Every Fall for 30-plus years he would take time away in the western mountains pursuing big game. Ken started coaching youth basketball, just out of college and continued coaching with a high level of passion until his health no longer allowed. He also loved playing games and cards with family & friends. When the opportunity allowed, he loved spending time at the casino.

Ken will be sadly missed by his loving wife Lisa (nee: Camacho) Fenske and daughters, Mona, Marissa (TJ), Calli (Kody), and Jordan. He is further survived by his sister, Shirley Slavinsky & family, brother Andy Fenske & family and stepdad Harold Ellie & family.

He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth Walter Fenske and his mother Gloria Jean Ellie.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 15, 2025 from 3:30 p.m. until the 6:30 p.m. memorial service all at Fox River Christian Church, S46 W24130 Lawnsdale Rd., Waukesha, 53189.
