Judith Anne Fossman

December 27, 1946 — February 7, 2026

Waukesha

Today we say good-bye to the strongest lady we know. After four years, Judith Anne Fossman lost the courageous fight to Pancreatic Cancer. Judith Anne Fossman passed away at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc on February 7,2026 at the age of 79 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Watertown, Wisconsin to parents Leo and Barbara (nee Rohloff) Frentzel.

When you think of Judith, the first thing that comes to mind is her smile and laugh that would make you laugh with her. Through all her doctor appointments or treatments she would always find a way to lighten the mood with her smile and her positive attitude.

Judith enjoyed her summers with family up north at Sugar Camp. Where we would take rides by land or water to see eagles, deer and at times find a waterfall. At night we would sit around the camp fire making smores with the grandkids. Once the bugs were to bad the card shark would come out as we played 500 rummy, Kings Corners or Polish Poker and at times left, right, center.

Some special memories we will cherish are the gardening and canning in the kitchen or laughing as she is telling Todd how to cook or adding her 2cents, in which Todd cooked many meals for her during her cancer journey which she enjoyed and loved every bite. This past summer her wish was to go to Sequoia National Park and hug a tree and of course we made that happen. If you had the chance to ask her how the trip was. She would say the trees were beautiful and huge, but the best part of the trip was experiencing a mud slide. Watching the water and mud coming at you and bringing with it a large chuck of tree. That was thrilling.

Judy had the joy to be blessed with three grandchildren that treasured the time they had with “Crazy Granny”. She was the kind of lady that had no problem getting to their level and creating memories that they will hold dear in their hearts.

She is survived by her loving children Todd (Nicole) Fossman and Janet (Jesse) Seprish; grandchildren, Ryan Seprish, Avery and Finley Fossman; siblings, Leo (Susan) Frentzel Jr. and Lisa Kretschmann (George).

Judith is preceded in death by parents and her siblings Joanne, Kathy and Susie.

A special thank you to her care team at Aurora Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, for all they did. Thank you to all the friends she made at Oak Hill Terrace and Thank you to the caring staff at Angels Grace Hospice.

On her request we will be having a Celebration of Life at Machine Shed on March 7 at Noon - 3pm. Friends and Family are welcome to join to share memories of this beautiful person as we know as a sister, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend. Causal attire is welcomed.

Judith will be laid to rest at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia, Wisconsin privately with her family.

In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to Humane Animal and Welfare Society of Waukesha County (HAWS), Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Research or charity of your choice.
