Joshua Curtis Kuester

Joshua C. “Josh” Kuester, of Waukesha, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at his residence at the age of 39. He was born in Waukesha on January 27, 1987, the son of James and Kathleen (nee Humphrey) Kuester. Family was everything to Josh, he was a great dad and loved his boys more than anything and enjoyed taking them camping. For 19 years he trained in Jiu-Jitsu, earning his 2nd degree black belt.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Leah Kollauf, his beloved sons Emerson Kuester, Julian Kuester and Caleb Kuester. Dear son of Jim Kuester and Kathy Kuester. He is further survived by his brothers Jason (Lori) Kuester, Jaren Kuester, Jacob Kuester, James Kuester Jr., and Jericklee Kuester, many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by an infant son Braddock Kuester.

A memorial service for Josh will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 at The Bridge Church-Oconomowoc, 818 W. Wisconsin Ave. Oconomowoc, WI 53066 with visitation starting at 5:00 PM until the memorial service at 6 :00 PM.
