John Osborn Radcliff

John Osborn Radcliff, age 83, died on Friday, August 21, 2026. He was born in Campbellsburg, Kentucky, the only child to Charles Osborn and Virginia Kathryn (nee: Thompson) Radcliff. John proudly served in the United States Air Force and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for his distinguished service. In his leisure time, he enjoyed saltwater fishing in Florida, reading, following Kentucky Basketball and the Green Bay Packers.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 53 years, Lauren (nee: Gennrich) Radcliff and their 4 children, Susan (Charles Cameron) Radcliff, John A. (Stephanie) Radcliff, Ian C. (Jill) Radcliff and Abby K. (Gadier Ortiz) Radcliff. He is further survived by his grandchildren, Zaine Osborn Radcliff, Grace Radcliff, Jennifer Radcliff-Smith, Callie Radcliff and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his adoptive parents, John “Buck” & Mary Elizabeth Radcliff.

In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no formal service’s. His family will honor his memory privately.
