John L. Fry

John L. Fry, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at AngelsGrace Hospice on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the age of 73. He was born in Mancelona, Michigan, on October 18, 1952, the son of Sirvella (Donald) Shepard and James Fry. On August 26, 1972, he married his beloved wife Sharen (née Neshek) at First Baptist Church in Waukesha where they remained longtime members.

John was known for his warm and sociable nature, creating friendships wherever he went. He found great joy in vacationing, especially in Florida, and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and gambling. Above all, John treasured the time spent with his family.

He leaves behind his devoted and loving wife of nearly 54 years, Sharen; his daughters, Katie Teran and Angela (James) Dudley; and grandchildren, Anthony (Allix) Teran, Adrianna Teran, Vivian Lopez, Ryan Lopez, Jacob Dudley, and Brandon Dudley, along with great-grandchildren Sylvia and Charlotte Teran. John is also survived by his brother Joe (Nancy) Fry, sister Minnie Fairbanks; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Melissa Fry, his brother James Fry, and his parents.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Monday, August 3, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until the memorial service at 12:00 p.m. at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Burial will follow at Prairie Home Cemetery.
