Jason D. Klug of Watertown, formerly of Waukesha passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the age of 52. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on September 1, 1972 the son of James Klug and Lynette “Lyn” (Koopman) (formerly Klug) Owens. Jason worked for many years as an auto mechanic primarily at F&F Tire. He had a passion for music and loved playing the guitar. Jason was the lead guitarist for the band Flyspeck and co-wrote some of the music and lyrics. He loved making music with his friends.
He will be sadly missed by his daughters, Camila Klug and Calista Klug, step-son Bryan Galvan and their mother Irene Galvan; his mother and step-father Lyn and Wayne Owens; his sister Kathie (Dana) Deitsch and dear family friend Britt Feight (mother of the late Spencer Klug). He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Spencer Klug, brother Jonathan Klug and father James Klug.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd from 12:00 noon until the memorial service begins at 2:00 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp Street, Waukesha, WI 53188. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jason’s name are appreciated to the family for the benefit of his daughters (checks payable to Lynette Owens).
