Janice L. Fischer, age 82, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. Born in Milwaukee on September 10, 1942, she was the beloved daughter of William and Dorothea (nee Goes) Biscobing. She was a 1960 graduate of Rufus King High School and as a teenager, loved riding horses at Black Horse Stables in Milwaukee. Janice was known for her artistic endeavors and varied interests. A talented baker, she delighted family and friends during the holiday season, particularly with her traditional Stollen, she baked each Christmas. She also enjoyed reading, sewing, bowling and bingo with her friends. She spent many summers at the lake where she created many fond memories that she treasured throughout her life. A devoted member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Waukesha, Janice's faith was an integral part of who she was. She possessed a vibrant personality that was characterized by her infectious laugh, a gift she shared with everyone around her until the very end.

She is lovingly remembered and missed by her family, daughter, Tracey (Ray) Banks; grandson, Zach Vogel (Robyn); and her brother, Lawrence (Beverly) Biscobing. She is also loved by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the Nephrology Associates team, and a special thanks to Dr. Elangovan. Special thanks is also extended to the caring staff at AngelsGrace Hospice, Davita Spring City Dialysis, Jenny at Commonheart Palliative Care and the doctors and nurses at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and Linden Grove.
