Harold I Washburn, age 79, of Waukesha, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in Oconomowoc. He was born in Watertown on October 18,1946 to Harold and Elsie (nee Vandorf) Washburn. Harold was a 1965 graduate of Waukesha South High School. He proudly served his country in the Army 101st Airborne paratroopers during the Vietnam war. He worked for Husco International as a machinist for many years.
Harold was faithful member of the Agape Community Church in Pewaukee, was the owner of two MG’s and enjoyed time spent in the Waukesha MG Club. He enjoyed dancing, car shows, home improvements, collecting old cars, and playing solitaire
He will be sadly missed by his friend and companion Lisa Ingersoll, daughters Angela (Mike), and Shelly, six grandchildren, and his feline companion Sammy. Nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen, his parents and his brothers, Kenneth Roberts and David Roberts, and his sister, Donna Teuteberg.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Agape Community Church, 449 W. Wisconsin Ave Pewaukee, WI 53072, from 2:00 PM until the funeral service begins at 4:00 pm. Pastor Florin will preside. Full Military Honors will follow the service at the church. Graveside services will be at Salem Cemetery in Wales at 9:00 AM on Monday, August 17, 2026 (Please meet at the cemetery by 8:45 AM).
