Frank "Win" Redding

Frank W. “Win” Redding of Waukesha, died of lymphoma on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the age of 54.  He was born on August 19, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Arnold and Barbara (Blundin) Redding.  On October 23, 1993, Win was united in marriage to Kimberly Kussmaul in Murrysville, Pennsylvania.  Win studied architecture at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh and worked with residential construction firms in Pennsylvania and Colorado before earning a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Massachusetts.  After a decade as a professional sculptor in Pittsburgh, Win returned to architectural design and building full time in 1997.  In 2001, he founded Architrave, LLC, a residential design and building company in Waukesha.  Always an artist at heart, Win also loved to travel, most recently spending two weeks in Italy with his family.  Win will be deeply missed by his wife, Kimberly Redding of Waukesha; their sons:  Morgan, Thomas, and William; his sisters:  Janet (Tom) Richardson of San Martin, CA and Bonnie Redding of Charlottesville, VA; nephew, Ross Richardson; other relatives and dear friends here and around the world.  Through his creative spirit and infectious curiosity, Win touched many people of all ages.  A memorial service for Win will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 5:00 PM at First Congregational U.C.C., 100 E. Broadway, Waukesha.  Rev. Deb Howland will preside.  Family will join relatives and friends at a reception immediately following the service at the church.  Memorials in Win’s name may be made to the Capital Campaign at First Congregational U.C.C.
