Florence L. Smith

Florence L. Smith of Waukesha passed away peacefully at Angels Grace Hospice on June 23, 2026 at the age of 93. She was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan on December 21, 1932 to Virgil and Florence (Conrad) McClintic. Florence was a graduate of Muskegon High School and Muskegon Community College. On March 23, 1957 she married Harvey J. Smith in Muskegon, Michigan and he preceded her in death exactly 27 years ago on June 23, 1999.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Amy (Curtis) Van Weelden of Waukesha; her grandchildren, Emily (Craig) Murrill, Sara (Cole) Tenold and Arie (Mary) Van Weelden; and four great-grandchildren and a fifth on the way.

Private burial will be held with her husband Harvey at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
