Eugene F. Szopinski died the evening of Thursday May 21, 2026 at his residence with his wife by his side, aged 78. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on August 17, 1947 to parents Eugene and Doris (née Hanneman) Szopinski.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 55 years Diane (née Sharping) Szopinski and his children Chad and Kurt Szopinski. Eugene is preceded in death by his son Bryan on July 18, 2007 and parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 27, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at Highland Memorial Park, 14875 W. Greenfield Avenue, New Berlin, WI 53151. Please meet at the cemetery entrance.
