Dorothy Wagner

Dorothy Wagner of Waukesha died on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at the age of 94. She was born in Milwaukee on November 15, 1927 the daughter of Frederick and Olga (nee Wardius) Roese. Dorothy worked as a bookkeeper at M&I Bank for many years. She was a longtime and faithful member of Christ the Life Lutheran Church in Waukesha. Dorothy had a great love for singing and was a proud member and singer for Sweet Adelines.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Kathleen Wagner, David (Diane) Wagner, Susan (Steven) Butler and Jeffrey Wagner; 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her brother Frederick Roese, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son Michael “Mike” Wagner and sisters, Arlene, Janet and Audrey.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until time of the 1:00 p.m. memorial service at the Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Avenue, Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Dorothy’s name are appreciated to Christ the Life Lutheran Church, 3031 Summit Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188.
