Dorothy Depriest

Dorothy J. DePriest, of Waukesha, died on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. She was born in Cumberland, WI on May 17, 1926 the daughter of Thorlough and Anna (nee Avery) Sutherland. She graduated from Barron High School and on June 22, 1946 she married Lyle DePriest in Wood, WI, who preceded her in death. Dorothy worked at the Waukesha County Home and then Linden Grove from 1976 until her retirement in 2006.  She will be sadly missed by her children: Sharon (Robert) Pugh of Waukesha, Dawn Paquette of Milwaukee, Dennis (Brenda) DePriest of Milwaukee, Shelly Sullivan of Milledgeville, GA and Tracy DePriest of Waukesha, her twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sisters: Evelyn Ristow of Barron, WI, and Marlys (Delbert) Fankhauser of Stillwater, MN, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends and co-workers. In addition to her parents and her husband Lyle, she was preceded in death by her son Marc DePriest and her daughters: Sandra Bielke, and Debbie and Patty Jo DePriest.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 11:00AM until the 1:30PM funeral service at Randle-Dable Funeral Home, 1110 S.
