Don B. Pirie

Don B. Pirie of Waukesha passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026 at his home surrounded by the love of his family at age 92. He was born on October 6, 1933 the son of Irwin and Lane (nee Bennett) Pirie. Don grew up near Seattle, Washington and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. On April 12, 1958 he married his beloved wife Marcia (Hastreiter) and together they were longtime members of St. Mary Catholic Church; she preceded him in death on June 8, 2025. Don had a successful career as a general manager for Kohl’s, T.A. Chapman in Milwaukee, and then for Michael’s in Downtown Waukesha for 21 years before embarking on a career in real estate.

He will be sadly missed by his three sons; Michael Pirie, Robert Pirie and John Pirie. In addition to his wife Marcia, he was preceded in death by his sister Betty Greene.

The funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at Corpus Christi Parish-St. Mary Church, 225 S. Hartwell Ave Waukesha, WI. Following Mass, interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery with full military honors.
