Dolores A. Ballard

Dolores A. Ballard passed away on Wednesday September 18,2024, at the age of 89 years at Waukesha memorial hospital. Originally from Racine, she lived in Greenfield for the past 6 years. She was born in Racine on August 16, 1935, the daughter of Floyd and Enid (nee: Trolle) Beauchamp. She was a graduate of Racine Horlick. In her early years Dolores was employed by Wisconsin Bell as a switchboard operator, then was proud to be a mom and homemaker, and later worked as a CNA at a long-term care facility, until retirement in 1994. She liked to read, go out to eat, and loved to cook. Watching cooking shows on TV and trying out new recipes was her passion.

She is lovingly survived by her children: Rodney (Jackie) Hetchler of Colby WI, Suzanne (Robert) Kraus of Waukesha, Lorrie Barboff of Appleton, Neil Barboff (Dawn) of Michigan, and John Ballard of Racine. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, her sister Roberta Stanek from Washington State, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and many friends.
