Diane Gail Isnard passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, in Waukesha, WI. She was born on September 13, 1951, to Jack and Doris Isnard. She attended Brown Deer HS and graduated in 1969. Diane worked in variable roles at nursing homes in the Brown Deer area during her adult life. She was able to spend her later years living with her mother, initially in Brown Deer but in recent years, Waukesha, to be closer to family.
Diane loved building friendships wherever she was by taking an interest in others and being a patient listener. She loved playing card games, using her creativity to make yarn plastic canvas projects, and celebrating her birthday with friends and family at a restaurant of her choice. She loved dogs, photography, music, birds (especially cardinals) and traveling in her earlier years with family and friends. She enjoyed the holidays, making special crafts and being generous with her gift giving to those she loved. She was kind and loyal and although she had many physical crosses to bear, she rarely complained and did not let it stop her from doing what she loved and being with people.
She is survived by her brother David and his wife Dianne and nephew Steven, as well as niece, Rachel Mosser and nephew, Daniel Kern. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Doris Isnard and her sister, Lynn Kern.
A private Memorial will take place at the time of interment at Valhalla Cemetery for family and friends.
