Deedy Renee Selecky

Deirdre "Deedy" Renee Selecky nurturer of countless young hearts, mother of Stephen Chase Selecky, grandmother of Eric, Yuna, Jayden, Riley, Logan, Scarlett, Shaylee, Sapphire, Sterling, and Steffan, wife of Michael Selecky, and mother-in-law to Kathy. For 30 years, her home was a haven as a daycare, caring for generations of children – her final years devoted to those with Autism. She shared her love and home with her own beloved animals and always opened her heart to others in need. In quieter moments, she cultivated love through gardening and canning.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. until the 1:00 p.m. Celebration of Life. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Waukesha HAWS in her name would honor her love for all living things.
