Daniel Richard Connor (Dan), Age 77, passed away April 23, 2026, from complications as a result of his courageous battle with stomach cancer. He was born February 21, 1949, in Waupun, Wisconsin, the son of Clarence and Hazel (nee Hoeft) Conner.
Dan was devoted to his family. He was cherished and will be greatly missed by his wife, Edith, (nee Wollangk), whom he married April 16, 1977; his daughters Kathryn Conner and Christina (Paul) Drake; his three granddaughters Katara, Evelyn and Lennon Drake; and his beloved granddog and walking buddy, Ginger. He also will be missed by his three brothers Henry, Lester and Michael as well as many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Loretta and brothers James and Ernest.
After graduating from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, in 1968, Dan enlisted in the U.S. Army, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam War and in Germany. After his honorable discharge in 1971, he attended Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac and earned a certification in computer technology in 1973. During his career, he was a service technician for Wang Laboratories for 29 years followed by serving as a consulting engineer for Air Technologies until his retirement in April of 2022.
During his spare time, Dan enjoyed cheering on the Packers and the Brewers. He loved working around the house, both inside and outside, and took great pride in his well-manicured lawn.
Visitation for Dan will be held Saturday, June 13, 2026 from 1:00 PM until the 3:00 PM memorial service at First United Methodist Church, 121 Wisconsin Ave, Waukesha. Memorials for Dan can be made to Healing Hearts of Southeast Wisconsin (www.healingheartswisconsin.org)
