Cory Ralph Graves, 52, of New Berlin, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at his home on August 28, 2025. Born on September 29, 1972, in Jamestown, North Dakota, Cory was the cherished son of Rex and Debra (Baenen) Graves.
Cory grew up with a deep appreciation for family, values he carried with him throughout his life. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, he built a successful career as a Financial Planner with Next Level Planning and Wealth Management, where he was respected for his integrity and care for others.
While dedicated to his work, Cory’s heart always belonged first and foremost to his family and friends. He shared a special bond with his nieces and nephew, who adored their Uncle Coco for his warmth, humor, and unwavering support. Cory’s generosity of spirit and the joy he found in gatherings with friends and family, big or small, made him the one who brought people together.
An outdoorsman at heart, Cory loved fishing, hunting, clay target shooting, and flying. These hobbies gave him adventure and peace, but he most enjoyed sharing them with the people he loved. His presence was a gift, his laughter unforgettable, and his devotion to those closest to him will live on in their hearts.
Cory is survived by his loving parents, Rex and Deb Graves; his siblings, Eric (Cindi) Graves Wisconsin, Anita (Brett) Frey of North Dakota, and Josh (Jess) Graves of North Dakota; his nephew Jacob; his nieces Halee, Addison, Madie, Avery and Becca and his cherished cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Sophie Baenen and Oliver and Donna Mae Graves.
Cory’s life was defined by love—for his family, his friends, and the countless special moments he shared with them. His legacy of kindness and devotion will be carried forward by all who were blessed to know him.
Funeral services will be held in Jamestown, North Dakota, with details to follow.
