Mrs. Constance “Connie” Anita Kline passed away on Monday, October, 20, 2025 at her residence in Waukesha at the age of 92.
Connie, daughter of the late Gerald and Agnes Brehm, was born in Waukesha on August 28, 1933. She married Eugene “Gene” Kline on November 22, 1954. Connie was an exceptional mother and homemaker and dedicated her life to raising her seven children. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and was always available to chat on the phone or her tablet. Connie was a great listener, full of wisdom, and often sought after for her sage advice. She spent her later years crocheting beautiful blankets that she gifted to family and friends. In 1985, Connie became a kidney transplant recipient and went on to live another 40 years, thanks to the selfless generosity of her sister Mary.
Connie was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Gene Kline; son, Gerald “Jerry” Kline; daughter, Wendy Kline; and three sisters, Geraldine Egofske, Joan Stutz, and Silveria “Silver” LeClaire.
Connie is survived by three sons and two daughters; Lawrence “Larry” Kline (Lisa) of Hartford, Wisconsin; Terry Kline (Diane) of Stafford, Virginia; Jean Gomez (Rick) of Sierra Vista, Arizona; Julie Moser (Craig) of Waukesha, Wisconsin; and Kenneth “Ken” Kline (Sandra) of Tarpon Springs, Florida. She is survived by two other daughter in-laws, Anita “Kay” Kline of Waukesha, Wisconsin and Karen Gliatto of Vernon, Wisconsin. She is survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and sister, Mary Brehm of Waukesha. She also leaves behind many other family members and friends who will sadly miss her, including Shirley Garvey, a very special lifelong friend of 87 years.
Consistent with her wishes, no visitation or memorial service is planned for Connie. The inurnment will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery in a private service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Association for the Rights of Citizens with handicaps (ARCh) or Creative Community Living Services (CCLS).
