Claire M. Semmler

Claire Madeline Semmler (nee Graff) passed away peacefully at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 69. Born in Milwaukee at St. Joseph Hospital to parents Frank and Carol (nee Kern) Graff on October 10, 1954. She graduated from Mukwonago High School. Through work Claire met her late husband of 33 years, Curtis Semmler, and married on May 5, 1990. She was an independent woman who loved to dance and always had a smile. Although feisty, her wish was to tell everyone she loved them. Claire was a kind and caring woman who will be deeply missed.  

She is survived by her siblings Karin (William) Swift, Frank (Debbie) Graff, Gail (Jack) Rice, and Tina (Kurt) Holtz. Claire is survived by other relatives, friends, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, and husband. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of those who helped Claire throughout her life, and especially in her last few years.  

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a future date. Claire was laid to rest with with her husband Curtis at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Pewaukee.
